CineGear 2024 at Warner Bros Studios | Sony FX30 & DJI Osmo Pocket 3
Every year Cinegear is held and it is essentially a candy store for filmmakers to check out brand new cinema cameras and technology in the filmmaking world. This year it was super nice that it was held at Warner Bros Studios lot in Burbank, CA. I only attended one day but my other friends went the day before!

I've lived in the OC for all my life and didn't know that there was a car show that happens on Friday of every week in Garden Grove unless there's rain. I decided to drive over and take a look at the festivities and I was quite amazed by all the cars that are showcased on the Historic Old Town Garden Grove's Main Street! In today's video I wanted to share with you guys my DIY LED case hack for the Pelican 1510 and 1535 air cases. These can be applied to other cases like the Nanuk 935 as well! I was tired of not having a work light when I'm on location for my cases at night. So I decided to do something about it and came up with this solution. It's super handy because you can use any existing powerbank you have....
Nanuk TSA Powerclaw Latch Replacement for Nanuk 935
Переглядів 83Місяць тому
Today I look at the Nanuk version of the TSA Powerclaw Latches made specifically for Nanuk cases. These are great if you're tired of TSA snapping your TSA locks off your Nanuk cases or just to simply have an extra added safety measure from prying eyes. Surprisingly these latches are cheaper to buy and easier to install than the competitor Pelican cases. You can buy the Nanuk version of the TSA ...

Hi everyone! I just wanted to make a video documenting my Peak Design Lifetime Warranty claim for the Peak Design Everyday Backpack V1, which I bought a long time ago from REI in 2018. I had no idea the backpack would become my everyday carry for 6 years traveling all over the world with me. Given the backpack was so expensive at the time I wasn't too sure about the lifetime warranty claim proc...

Color grading travel videos is usually pretty tedious and time consuming. With a bunch of footage I shot recently working on documentaries all over Asia last year I decided to try out Dehancer Pro and see just how easy it is to color grade videos using this plugin for Davinci Resolve. The results were fantastic and I was really impressed. If you want to try this plugin for yourself head over to...

Ttukseom Hangang Park / Rubber Duck Project / Banpo Bridge: Korea Solo Travel Series Episode 2
I just stumbled across your video while watching reviews for this lens. I just bought it and I'm so excited to receive it in the mail! Also, I really appreciate the simplicity of your vlog. Its artsy and beautiful without being over the top. Subscribed :)
great built! What's the width of your shelves?
Hi! I am planning to go to Haneul Park to see the sunrise. Questions for you: 1. Did you take the stairs or the hill part? 2. If you took the hill part, how many miles is it? 3. How do you rate the hike? and 4. Did you take the shuttle going down? Thank you! <3
Hi I took the stairs since it was faster to reach the top. It's not too hard since there's areas to kinda stop and rest. The hill part isn't as steep but expect to take way longer. The hike up there isn't very tough especially if you take the stairs. The shuttle wasn't open during the sunrise times and by the time I finished at around 11am you could buy tickets to take the shuttle down since everyone's trying to get up the park
@@alanychung Thank you. How long did it take you to hike up the stairs? I am planning to hike there by myself and I will be coming from Myeongdong. Is it safe to take a taxi?
@@dadivacatbagan7028 probably like 35 minutes? I saw an elderly man do it in like 15 minutes. Taxi and bus is relatively safe. The only hard part about taxi would be trying to communicate and telling them you want to go to the park. You can use Uber Taxi app on your phone so you don't have the language barrier issue
@@alanychung Thank you. :)
Hey Alan. Loved this video, will be using some of the tips you gave for my upcoming vlog. Just fyi u can collapse all the tabs by holding option and clicking one of the tabs.
Thanks for watching! And thanks for the shortcut tip I’ll definitely use it next time
Thats pretty cool and useful!
I recently ordered the 1615 Air Case (without locked hatches) because it was almost $200 cheaper than the 1615 Travel. These new locks go for ~$50. So assuming I can actually get these installed, that's a savings of $150. FYSA: Pelican offers military & veterans discount, so that's another $52.04 saved.

謝謝 Eileen!!
wow... amazing colors!
😃
we saw two different Oregons 😂 I'll definitely check these places out when I go again!
that means you gotta go back!
Dude, i love cheese lol what a cool trip!
Thanks! Tillamook had literally cheese everything!!! It was heaven ahaha maybe not for those that are lactose ahaha
Good work!
Thank you!
What is the storage solution you put in the top of the case?
Is there a guide or parts list. So others can do the same?
👍
Couple of questions Is this clog3 and did you graded it manually and which software did you use and rec709 conversion lut also
clog 3 manuallly graded with davinci resolve. color space transform from davinci resolve itself
Just wow 😮 😊
A poetic nostalgic vibe throughout
Thanks Jason!
Yeah, these are great. I did this with my top case on my motorcycle.
That’s great to hear!
Bro said the box it quite smaller than expected, you bought a phone not a laptop😂😂💔
Of course I came from a Samsung s9 the box is bigger 😎
dude i want a shiny case
Gotta get one!
We bought the same LED strip, I just got the RGB version also hahahah
Great video! I am thinking about lighting up my pelican case to make looking for my gear in the dark easier. I’ll follow your tutorial!
Yess! Hope this video helps!
Video is trash
What size suitcase do you have? My tripod doesn't fit in my current suitcase, so I'm considering upgrading
29 inches!
Will the Sirui SVH15 75mm Fluid head fit on Sachtler Flowtech 75 legs? Thanks!
it should since it’s a 75mm bowl head. I’ve seen manfrotto 75mm fluid heads on these before
Great job. The handles are brilliant.
3:20 what ... 3:23 oh ok
Great video and an underrated topic. I had the exact same experience with Peak Design replacing my backpack as well - absolutely incredible customer service so they've made me a customer for life.
Definitely! They too have made me a customer for life
Dude! I cannot agree more. Peak designs always, ALWAYS has your back! Ive warrantied claimed multiple items from them like damage to the zippers on both my 45L travel backpack and 5L sling, and they replaced it no questions asked. I live in asia and they shipped it out for free! Had the same sentiments as you bro, the price was a bit hard to swallow at first but the saying goes true, "You get what you pay for"
That's super nice of them to ship your items to you all the way to Asia! I guess the real test always comes down the the promises made during the time of sale and seeing if they go through with it which Peak Design did!
As others have posted, I would love to obtain a copy of that tool - any luck anyone ?
Great, it takes up all your space in your sedan. All the equipment its made for, where will you keep that? Why not a foldable Olympia XL trolly?
It always sucks when you have to use warranty, but always nice when a company takes good care of you when you do!
definitely! explains why I have all peak design gear. Even before the warranty claim!
Gotta give props to the amount of effort you put into the description alone 🙌
ahaha i spent some good time thinking it through :P
Low light looks bomb here. Curious, which camera do you grab when you go out to vlog - the FX30 or the Pocket 3? I'm thinking about getting an Pocket 3 (for wide, talking head shots) and a ZVE1 (for medium, close-up shots) but I'm wondering if that's overkill and I can just take one out.
Osmo pocket 3 if it’s walk n talk or to film wide shots without having to bust out a huge camera. Fx30 for everything else!
Really like the retro/vibrant colors you put on this footage. I have the 2, have been eyeing the 3 for a while.
Thanks Peter!
How did u deal with the wobble at 24mm? And did u have to use noise reduction in post?
I just held my camera and controlled my breathing to make it smoother. No noise reduction at all!
Great job, grade looks amazing!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you.
Wow this looks great!
thank you!
Beautiful results! Thank you for the review :)
Thanks for letting me try out your plugin!
Bowl cake ( rice cake in a bowl with pork belly, egg, etc. I think it was originated from Tainan) and meat cake, a slimy soft rice skin with pork inside, originated from chang-hua.
WTFFFFF this is insanely good Alan!!
Thanks Wes!
wow that intro was so cinematic - thought i was watching a movie! dehancer pro makes the footages look so filmy! i would love to try it!!! the color grading looks so fun and impressive! the grain and all those details look amazing... thanks for such an informational video! i learned a lot and liked hearing both sides of the pros/cons!
Thanks Lily!

Yummy food, thanks for sharing ❤stay connected
很愛很棒啊❤❤
The only improvement I could see would be to put the shelfs on rosettes for even quicker set up time! Overall super solid build and really enjoyed watching this!
1:26 I so want to visit "la bamba" bar ❤
